Deutsches Museum München – The assembly begins

We’re starting to assemble all important parts for the Deutsches Museum Munich project to make our exhibition a great success. For this we had to disassemble the Thymio II robot which was selected by us as the best choice for the gesture controlled robot. This is important since the Thymio II needs permanent current. Normally the Thymio is powered by a battery pack which is not a good solution when having an exhibition project in a museum which will be powered for 12 hours a day.

We have to solve a problem with the Intel Realsense camera, since we are not able to use USB cables longer than ~5m. But we are sure that we can solve this too!
